About CWC

Writers helping writers

That’s what we do. We do it through workshops, lectures, and helping you build a network with fellow writers. SF/Peninsula Writers, a branch of the California Writers Club, is structured so that writers can encourage, champion, and cheer on their fellow writers. It’s a place to find people to join your critique group, or go in search of a group to join.

On the third Saturday of each month, it’s a place to get a halfway decent bagel and a cup of coffee and hear a writer, editor, or publisher talk about the process or the industry. You may even hear—this has happened—a forensic psychiatrist talk about character, motivation, and the human condition, all as they relate to projects writers of every stripe take on. Please join us!
